The Cycle of Hate: Breaking the Chain of Suffering
There is an eternal battle raging on earth between love and hate. Love is by far the stronger but hate comes to us easier.
We have been trained from a young age to hate. We see our parents hate others who have done bad and evil things and so we hate them too.
But imagine if our first thought was empathy and understanding. Once we go into hate mode then we can’t see past it. It blinds all our other sensors.
Our heart rate increases, we start sweating. Fear and anger rise up. We want to kill and destroy those that cause us to hate. But we are all unconscious.
We are not aware of what is really going on for ourselves and for others and in the world. Things never just happen for no reason.
There is always a long list of catastrophic events which lead to someone doing something evil. There is always a reason behind every evil act of murder or similar.
But most of all, it all comes from being unconscious. Completely unaware of what we are doing in our life. What actions and choices we make every day. And how these affect other people around us.
We are unaware of how those little outbursts we have of anger and hate and fear have on those around us. We tell ourselves we don’t care but it is just a story.
